When we make a recommendation of hardware or software it's assured that we do so because of a belief that they are the best solution for the need at hand. Our recommendations are never motivated by profit or behind the scenes agreements with vendors or manufacturers. We can often help you with detailed manufacturer part number lists so that you can leverage your buying power with corporate accounts and business relationships already established to get your products at better prices that we could offer anyway. UpTime does offer Time & Materials billing as necessary at competitive hourly rates, but we have never believed that model as the best way for you to do business with us. A billing model that rewards inefficiency and longer downtimes seems to work against your best interests. We will always work as efficiently as possible to resolve any issues you have, but I think you will understand that payment by the hour is typically not as efficient as a flat fee support plan. That is where our Support Services Agreements come into play. A Support Services Agreement offers you the coverage you desire at a flat monthly rate. Our initial consultation will investigate your needs in the following areas: - What hours of coverage will you need? Nights? Weekends?
- How many workstations and servers will need to be maintained?
- What operating systems are your machines running?
- Is remote support an option?
- Do you require 24/7 Emergency Service capability?
Following our initial visit, we will provide you with as estimate that is in plain English, short, and to the point. With every Agreement automatically transitioning to a month to month basis after three months time, there is little need for the pages and pages of legalese you may be used to seeing with other agreements. A simple signature will get us started and immediately on to the headache removal process.
